Description

Job Purpose:
Ā  The Human Resources Manager at WPS FRESH is a 100% onsite role. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing many aspects of the human resources function within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that HR operations are a value add to the company through providing support to employees, and maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations. The HR Manager will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR functions to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide comprehensive employee support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation for all employees.
- Administer workers' compensation programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests and processes, ensuring adherence to legal standards and supporting employees through their leave.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High School Diploma

Required Experience:
- 4-6 years of work experience in human resources or a related field
- Experience in managing day-to-day HR functions and providing employee support
- Familiarity with payroll processes and workers' compensation
- Understanding of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong agility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Possess a "figure it out" mindset, with a strong capacity for independent decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support and interact with employees
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple HR tasks and responsibilities
