Position Summary
As an HR Manager, you will serve as a strategic and hands-on business partner supporting assigned divisions and functions. You will lead and execute across the full employee lifecycle -from recruiting and onboarding through development, performance management, and employee relations.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and day-to-day execution. You will coach leaders, strengthen team performance, ensure compliance, and help build a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead full-cycle recruiting to meet hiring goals, improve time-to-fill, and elevate quality of hire
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, selection strategies, and hiring decisions
- Leadership Coaching & Team Effectiveness
- Coach leaders at all levels on performance, engagement, and development
- Support the development of high-performing, accountable teams aligned with business goals
- Performance Management
- Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans
- Partner with leaders to address performance issues and elevate overall team effectiveness
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent practices
- Foster a positive employee-owner culture through engagement initiatives and team-building efforts
- Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all federal and California employment law
- Maintain high standards for documentation, consistency, and risk mitigation

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of HR generalist or HRBP experience with strong employee relations focus
- Working knowledge of recruiting systems, tools, and processes
- Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws
- Proven ability to coach leaders and influence outcomes
- Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills
Preferred:
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience in warehouse, distribution, construction, retail, or similar environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
