About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support our HR department. In this critical role, you will manage all human resources functions and initiatives, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. You will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring our company’s HR practices align with organizational goals and industry standards. This salaried, full-time position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting and empowering employees.
Essential Job Functions
- HR operations
- Set up and manage workflows in the HRIS system (Rippling) for recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, annual benefits enrollment and offboarding
- Facilitate recruitment processes, including job postings, background checks, and onboarding new hires
- Handle employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
- Manage the periodic and annual performance review process with department leaders and the executive team
- Manage the annual compensation and bonus setting process with department leaders and the executive team
- Manage the annual benefits enrollment process with employees and benefit providers
- Facilitate offboarding processes to ensure terminating employees complete all necessary tasks by their last day of employment (including coordination with other functions such as IT)
- Attend and participate in periodic Personnel Committee Meetings
- Support initiatives like service awards, training programs, and team-building activities to enhance employee satisfaction
- Generate reports on workforce demographics, performance metrics, and other HR analytics to inform decision-making
- Liaise with the Finance department regarding changes in staff employment, benefits and staff policies that have a financial impact
- Policy and Benefits Design and Implementation
- Advise in standardizing the design of employee benefits considering cost and market competitiveness of health/welfare and retirement plans
- Lead communications with employees on benefit and retirement plan choices to encourage participation
- Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing HR policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and organizational policies while managing sensitive information confidentially
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- At least 3 years of related work experience in HR operations and administration
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Technical Skills
- Candidates should demonstrate desire to engage with the HRIS technology to help streamline more routine tasks to create time for analysis and productive insights. The following technology products are currently in use by Christ Covenant impacting the HR function:
