Description

The HR Manager is responsible for key aspects of effective daily operations of the Human Resources Department including HRIS, recruiting and on-boarding, files, and administration, The HR Manager ensures excellent communication between associates, management team and applicants.

This is an onsite position

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all phases of the hiring process. Including recruiting, interviewing, applicant logs, referrals, reference and background checks, job offers, etc.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all HR department files and employee files
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy in all information in the HRIS system.
  • Ensures managers and employees are trained in HRIS system functions.
  • Schedules and initiates new employee orientation for all new hires.
  • Maintains the integrity of the human resource function and assures complete confidentiality of all employee records and information, company information, records, and documents.
  • Coordinates, executes and/or assists with various HR projects, events, program development, etc.
  • Completes wage and hour verification, ESC, and other government agency requests in compliance with company policies.
  • Participates in production of accurate and timely month end, year end and other related HR reports (i.e.: turnover reports, EEO-1, OSHA 300, etc.).
  • Facilitates / Mediates and provides support and decision making as needed to associate and management team with issues related to the smooth operation of the hotel and safe, legal and ethical resolution of grievances.
  • Development of, support of and/or administration of training needs of associates and managers.
  • Supports and participates in all company policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Supports all phases of successful operation of HR department including completion of all other duties as assigned by the Area Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience. Degree or certification in HR Management is a plus.
  • Hospitality industry experience is a plus.
  • Developed English skills to be able to communicate effectively (both written and orally)
