Core Functions

  • Execute day-to-day HR operations for assigned organizations, including employee relations, benefits administration, payroll-adjacent activities, recruitment support, and core HR administration.
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers, independently researching issues, exercising sound judgment, and resolving matters within established authority.
  • Own employee relations execution, including intake, documentation, performance counseling support, corrective action documentation, and guidance to managers through sensitive situations.
  • Apply MDC HR standards consistently while adapting execution to the operational realities of each client organization.
  • Meet with hiring managers to assess workforce needs, clarify role requirements, and guide recruitment efforts from intake through selection.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and participate in selection discussions to support timely, well-aligned hiring decisions.
  • Audit payroll outputs and monthly benefits reconciliations to confirm accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Execute required compliance reporting and maintain complete, audit-ready documentation and records.
  • Ensure internal controls, procedures, and deadlines are followed without exception.
  • Enter, validate, and maintain accurate HRIS, payroll, benefits, and recruiting data across all required systems.
  • Execute HR project work such as handbook updates, policy revisions, and HR due diligence support.
  • Prepare clear, accurate HR documentation and materials for internal use, training, and client-facing delivery.
  • Manager HR and recruitment requests to ensure work is completed, documented, and not left open-ended.
