The Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, training, compensation, and compliance. The HR Manager also guides the HR team, collaborates with senior management, and ensures the department's operations align with the company's overall strategy. This role will report to the Vice President of People Operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create, implement, and manage HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Handle employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee the recruitment & onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Identify training needs, develop and implement training programs, and foster employee growth.
- Manage compensation & benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with the company's budget.
- Ensure all HR practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with the company's overall business objectives.
- Payroll and benefits administration.
- Help drive safety culture and compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsQualifications include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor's in Human Resources or Business Administration
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP encouraged.
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resource Management.
- 3+ years in Natural Gas, Oil & Gas, Energy, and/or Transportation Industry.
- Payroll experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), mobile email & apps.
- Experience with employment-related laws and regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, detailed environment.Ā
