Position Overview

Shaw Industries is looking for an HR Manager to lead the Human Resources functions and to ensure the proper application and implementation of the policies and procedures of Shaw Industries Group, Inc. The Human Resources Manager will act as an employee advocate while administering company policies in a fair and consistent manner. The Human Resources Manager will cultivate a safe, honest, and open team environment where all associates are engaged and aligned with the facility’s business goals. The Human Resources Manager will directly impact these goals through focused efforts in talent management, risk assessments, and change leadership.

This position will support Plants 12 & 13 in Cartersville, GA

Responsibilities also include:

• Responsible for the administration and implementation of all HR functions. 
• Acts as a business partner with management and will assist in employee development, leadership training, succession planning, and the talent selection process. 
• Acts as an employee advocate while administering company policies in accordance with the company’s culture and values. 
• Ensure proper application and implementation of the policies and procedures. 
• Support Community Outreach Initiatives. 
• Ensure effective onboarding and talent development efforts. 
• Conduct investigations as required. 
• Manage Site-Wide Reward and Recognition Programs and budget. 
• Lead Diversity and Inclusion site-wide initiatives. 
• Conflict Management

Requirements: 

• 4-year degree

Preferred:

• Previous HR Generalist experience
