Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: Onsite in Fort Mill, SC
Hours: 32 hours per week
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000/year (based on experience)

This role is perfect for an experienced HR professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, supporting employees and thrives in a collaborative environment. With a strong focus on benefits administration, payroll processing, and compliance, you’ll be the go-to resource for employees and leadership alike.

What You’ll Do

Benefits Administration & Reconciliation (40%)

  • Manage all employee benefits (health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), etc.)

  • Support employees with benefit questions and enrollments

  • Reconcile monthly insurance invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments

  • Coordinate with brokers and carriers to ensure benefits are administered correctly and assist with resolving discrepancies

Payroll Management (30%)

  • Process biweekly payroll for 60+ employees

  • Maintain accurate payroll and HRIS records

  • Ensure compliance with federal/state payroll laws

  • Answer payroll-related employee questions

HR Operations & Compliance (20%)

  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure labor law compliance

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding

  • Administer leave (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and support reporting/audit functions

Employee Relations & Culture (10%)

  • Be a trusted HR resource for all staff

  • Promote a warm, respectful, and team-oriented environment

  • Support employee engagement and retention efforts

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, especially in benefits and payroll

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus

  • Proficiency in payroll/HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Paychex)

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work independently in an onsite environment
