Job Summary:

The HR Manager at Smart Start Inc. will play a key role in developing and executing HR strategies that align with our company’s business objectives and values. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong understanding of HR best practices and a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various functions within the company.
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes.
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on talent acquisition best practices.
  2. Employee Relations and Engagement:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance issues, and career development.
    • Foster a positive work environment by developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives that promote a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and collaboration.
    • Conduct regular check-ins and stay interviews to gauge employee satisfaction and address concerns proactively.
  3. Performance Management:
    • Design and oversee the company’s performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Work with managers to ensure consistent and fair evaluation of employee performance and development of growth plans.
  4. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills and support career advancement.
    • Organize workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities to promote continuous learning and professional development.
  5. Compensation and Benefits:
    • Manage the company’s compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with company objectives.
    • Conduct regular market analysis to ensure our compensation and benefits remain attractive and competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' of experience in an HR management role, preferably in a technology or high-growth company.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience with HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies in a technology company.
