As our Human Resources Manager, you’ll oversee the full scope of HR operations—including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, compliance, and organizational development. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

HR Manager job responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting efforts, from job posting and screening to onboarding top talent
  • Partner with leadership to identify talent needs and drive workforce planning strategies
  • Manage payroll processing and benefits administration, including health plans and 401(k)
  • Design and implement new hire orientation, training, and employee engagement programs
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, performance improvement plans, and conflict resolution
  • Lead HR compliance efforts with federal, state, and local labor laws and eCommerce-specific regulations
  • Maintain and update company policies, employee handbook, and HR documentation
  • Promote a positive company culture through recognition, DEI initiatives, and morale-building efforts
  • Conduct investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations when necessary
  • Use data and HR tech tools to track KPIs, assess trends, and drive HR decisions
  • Stay current on HR best practices and industry trends relevant to remote and eCommerce work environments
Requirements

 Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (SHRM-CP or PHR preferred).

Minimum Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in a fast-paced ecommerce, tech, or startup environment strongly preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR technology, payroll systems, and benefits management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Comfort working with remote or hybrid teams across multiple locations.
