Seda is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources professional to support and lead key HR functions across our organization. This role plays a critical part in shaping our workplace culture, strengthening employee relations, and driving HR initiatives that support our company’s strategic goals. Primary Responsibilities
The HR Manager will partner with the HR team across a broad range of HR functions, including organizational design, employee relations, employment law, compensation, benefits, recruiting, HRIS, talent development, compliance, training, and payroll.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Drive strong, positive employee relations and champion an effective “Open Door” culture with high energy and enthusiasm.
• Assist in defining and building the HR roadmap, identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing new programs, and managing existing successful initiatives.
• Thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting internal customers.
• Support leadership at all levels with performance coaching, employee development, and disciplinary processes, ensuring consistency across departments and shifts.
• Lead talent assessment efforts, support recruiting needs, and provide coaching and development for team members.
• Design, implement, and monitor HR initiatives aligned with company goals, including recognition programs, safety initiatives, and engagement campaigns.
• Administer and manage payroll processing with accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and analyze HR metrics and reporting, including turnover, headcount, compensation trends, and compliance audits.
• Support the annual compensation cycle, incentive plans, and labor budget development.
• Manage the HR department budget and ensure responsible resource allocation.
• Maintain, update, and audit HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational needs and legal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as requirements tied to organizational grants.
• Lead HR and talent initiatives in collaboration with the Director of HR and executive leadership.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the organization.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (SHRM‑CP, PHR) strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience with payroll systems, benefits administration, and HR reporting with strong attention to detail and compliance.
• Deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations (federal, state, and local), including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and wage/hour laws.
• Strong proficiency with HRIS and payroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, UKG, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport across all organizational levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach, influence, and resolve conflict effectively.
• Experience developing and implementing engagement programs, performance management systems, and recognition initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and use data to inform decisions.
• High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
