Description: 

 

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing the daily activities supporting NewLane’s employee relations, benefits programs, and related areas of Human Resource Management. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the first point of contact and the first line of communication to managers and supervisors regarding general human resources related questions/issues providing accurate and appropriate information or guidance or escalating as appropriate.
  • Conduct Team Member investigations from start to finish within the required time, working with the WSFS HR as necessary.
  • Consult with department leaders on a broad range of human resource issues, including WSFS benefit programs, performance improvement plans, and other employee-related areas.
  • Support management towards fostering employee engagement and commitment.
  • Coordinate employee events.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with external/internal counsel as needed/required.
  • Primary NewLane liaison to WSFS Human Resource Management.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree – Human Resources, business, management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of federal and local labor laws.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, organizational savvy, judgment, and decision-making.
  • A strategic thinker and creative problem solver who takes initiative and ownership.
  • Experience working in a matrixed HR department with demonstrated collaboration & teaming skills.
  • Self-starter with a creative mind and a track record of putting ideas into practice and assessing results.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Effective oral/written communication skills, as well as consultative skills with the ability to understand the needs and urgency of assigned positions are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • A strong team player attitude fostering strong working relationships across teams and departments.
  • Open and willing attitude open to giving and receiving feedback in a positive and productive manner.
  • Ability to negotiate offer letters.
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain flexibility.
