HR Manager

Position Overview:

Our client is a Not-for-profit, located in DC that's looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing and implementing various HR functions to support our employees and organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
    • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Foster a positive work environment and handle employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
    • Implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a healthy workplace culture.
  3. Performance Management:
    • Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
    • Work with department heads to develop and implement performance improvement strategies.
  4. Benefits and Compensation:
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
    • Ensure competitive compensation structures and conduct salary reviews as needed.
  5. Training and Development:
    • Identify training and development needs and coordinate training initiatives.
    • Support employee growth and skill development.
  6. HR Compliance:
    • Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Manage HR documentation and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in HR management, with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Target salary range $75k-$85k
