Our client is a Not-for-profit, located in DC that's looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing and implementing various HR functions to support our employees and organization's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Employee Relations:
Foster a positive work environment and handle employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
Implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a healthy workplace culture.
Performance Management:
Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
Work with department heads to develop and implement performance improvement strategies.
Benefits and Compensation:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Ensure competitive compensation structures and conduct salary reviews as needed.
Training and Development:
Identify training and development needs and coordinate training initiatives.
Support employee growth and skill development.
HR Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Manage HR documentation and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in HR management, with 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
