About the Company

Rhino Tool House is building a performance-driven sales organization where capability—not tenure—drives results. As we scale, our ability to expand expertise while maintaining high performance is critical to continued success.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Learning & Development Manager to transform training into a measurable business driver. This role goes beyond traditional L&D—it directly impacts sales performance, onboarding speed, and overall team capability.

You will design and scale systems that build commercial and technical expertise, reduce ramp time, and create a clear connection between learning initiatives and revenue outcomes. This is a highly visible, business-critical role with direct influence on growth and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Ramp

  • Design and implement structured 90 / 180 / 360-day onboarding and certification programs aligned to revenue readiness
  • Introduce early-stage capability assessments to accelerate time-to-productivity

Capability Development

  • Build and scale development programs for Sales Engineers and commercial team members
  • Strengthen performance across new and developing employees

Company University

  • Lead and expand the company’s core learning and capability platform
  • Develop hands-on, scenario-based training tied to real customer applications

Performance Measurement

  • Establish systems that connect learning initiatives to revenue, margin, and deal quality
  • Define, track, and report on key performance and capability metrics

Learning Systems & Content

  • Own and evolve learning platforms (iSpring, SharePoint, and internal tools)
  • Build a centralized, scalable knowledge system, including:
    • Knowledge guides
    • Sales resource library

What Success Looks Like

  • Reduced ramp time for new Sales Engineers
  • Measurable performance improvement across developing team members
  • Clear, data-driven linkage between training and revenue outcomes
  • More consistent, effective sales execution across the organization

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, sales enablement, or commercial leadership
  • Proven ability to build training or capability systems tied to business outcomes
  • Experience supporting technical or consultative sales teams preferred
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and sales execution
  • Ability to connect capability development to financial performance
  • Experience with LMS or learning platforms is a plus

Why Join Us?

We are entering a period of rapid growth. The challenge is not just scaling—but maintaining and elevating performance as we grow.

This role is central to ensuring we differentiate through expertise—not price—while building a best-in-class sales organization.

  • High visibility with executive leadership
  • Opportunity to build and scale a best-in-class L&D function
