Land Title Guarantee Company is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven leader to oversee training and employee development initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for managing a team of trainers, designing and implementing a Management Training program, and driving employee growth through actionable development planning. This position also partners closely with leadership and HR staff to support recruiting efforts and employee relations initiatives.
This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Job Responsibilities:
Training Leadership
- Manage and develop the training team, ensuring effective delivery of programs aligned with company priorities.
- Execute training strategy in partnership with the VP of Talent.
- Design and deliver training on HR policies, procedures, systems, and manager effectiveness.
- Ensure managers and employees understand and consistently apply company policies.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Management Training Program Manager
- Partner with managers and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement a robust Management Training Program that prepares high-potential front-line leaders ready for advancement.
- Create leadership-readiness curriculum, learning pathways, workshops, and experiential learning opportunities.
- Facilitate training sessions, coaching programs, and leadership workshops for emerging leaders.
- Develop competency models, assessment tools, and development frameworks to measure program effectiveness and participant growth.
- Monitor participant progress and recommend ongoing development and advancement opportunities.
- Analyze program metrics, participant feedback, and business outcomes to continuously improve training effectiveness.
Talent Development and Manager Enablement
- Partner with managers and teams to translate assessment insights into actionable development plans.
- Facilitate and support teams after completion of the Criteria Assessment, leveraging the Develop module as the primary tool for driving individual and team growth.
- Guide managers in taking targeted, measurable actions based on assessment results.
- Support ongoing employee development, performance improvement, and team effectiveness initiatives.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting across departments in partnership with hiring managers, recruiters, and the VP of HR.
- Suggest sourcing strategies, interview processes, and hiring plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with HR Recruiters:
- Track and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, candidate experience).
- Build and manage talent pipelines, including passive candidate sourcing.
- Ensure a consistent, equitable, and high-quality candidate experience.
- Facilitating New Hire Orientation.
Employee Relations
- Manages and responds to all HR inquiries in person, via email, and by phone.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, escalating complex or high-risk issues to the VP of HR as appropriate.
- Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and employee engagement.
- Conduct and document workplace investigations in a fair and compliant manner.
- Support initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
Operations and Execution
- Implement HR policies, procedures and programs in alignment with the VP of Talent’s direction.
- Support organizational initiatives like performance management cycles and change management efforts.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure consistent HR practices across the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
- Some travel (depending on business needs).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, and/or relevant experience.
- 5 - 7 years of progressive Org Development/HR experience.
- Experience in training/learning & development, recruiting, and employee relations.
- Experience managing or leading a training or Learning and Development team.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Practical understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace applications (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Chat, Meet).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, and/or relevant experience.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Experience with talent assessment and development tools.
- Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.

- Some experience with employee investigations and managing employee relations concerns.

Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Compensation:
- The salary for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 annually.
- As allowable under Colorado State Law, this position is exempt from overtime.
- Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience and expertise & may vary from the amount above.
- There is potential for an annual employee profit-sharing bonus based upon company performance.
