Description

Job Purpose:
- The Part-Time HR Assistant at PIEDMONT FRESH LLC is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in various administrative and clerical tasks. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record maintenance, and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related documents, such as contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Provide administrative support in the implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in organizing company events and employee engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned to support the department's objectives.



Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or HR support role.
- Familiarity with HR processes and procedures, including recruitment and onboarding.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Strong interpersonal skills to support a collaborative work environment.
