  • Recruitment & Staffing:

    • Oversee the recruitment process for plant positions, ensuring timely and quality hires that meet operational needs.
    • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and develop job descriptions.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Foster a positive workplace environment by addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
    • Implement initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Performance Management:

    • Manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
    • Develop performance improvement plans for underperforming employees.
  • Training & Development:

    • Assess training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and career progression.
    • Support leadership development initiatives at the plant level.
  • HR Policies & Compliance:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Ensure that the plant adheres to all labor laws and regulations.
  • Compensation & Benefits:

    • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
    • Conduct market research to recommend changes as necessary.
  • Workforce Planning:

    • Collaborate with plant leadership to forecast workforce needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
    • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in local area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fine with commuting to above work location
