Summary

Under the guidance and direction of the Senior Vice President of HR, the Recruiter/HR Generalist is responsible to manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates across various departments. This role will also support general HR functions such as employee record maintenance, assisting with onboarding programs, and supporting employee relations initiatives on an as-needed basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for talent acquisition, and a working knowledge of core HR practices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to specialize in recruitment while gaining broader exposure to human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume call center hiring needs, from sourcing to onboarding.
    • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates.
    • Conduct initial screenings and interviews, ensuring alignment with position requirements.
    • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet fast-paced hiring demands.
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment insights.
    • Organize and participate in career fairs, virtual hiring events, and community outreach programs.
    • Monitor recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill and candidate quality, to optimize hiring processes.
    • Provide first-level support for employee relations by performing intake on new issues and/or providing guidance to management to resolve moderately complex employee relations issues; escalating issues to VPHR for resolution. Coach and counsel managers and employees on various issues (employee relations, expectation setting etc.).
    • Facilitate and conduct exit interviews; gather insights and compile trends regarding retention; communicate feedback as needed.
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by keeping apprised of existing and new legislation and advising management of needed action.
    • Assist with the execution of the safety programs and work closely with department managers in tracking, providing, and following up on safety related information and ensure HR related safety initiatives are followed. Works with management to maintain a company-wide workplace environment free of incidents and accidents.
    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1-2 years as Recruiter with some HR Generalist experience
    • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment, preferably within a call center environment.
    • Expertise in using Excel, applicant tracking systems (ATS), assessment tools and recruitment platforms.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple hiring priorities simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Knowledge of workforce planning and data-driven recruitment strategies.
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is a plus but not required.
