Job Summary:
The Regional HR Generalist will support HR operations for three business units within Sandvik’s portfolio in the Americas region, ensuring consistent HR practices while adapting to local employment laws and cultural nuances. This role involves partnering with managers and employees in different countries such as the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil to manage employee relations, performance management, compliance with local labor laws, HR policy implementation and recruitment. The HR Generalist will play a key role in enhancing the employee experience across the region, fostering employee engagement, managing country-specific HR requirements, and supporting the company's HR strategies and initiatives.

Cimatron provides toolmakers with an integrated CAD/CAM solution for the design and manufacture of plastic injection molds and sheet metal stamping dies, as well as programming 2D to 5-Axis milling CNC machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Country Employee Relations: Act as the HR point of contact for employees and managers across multiple countries, addressing employee concerns, resolving disputes, and fostering a positive work environment. Ensure alignment with both global HR practices and local cultural considerations.
- Compliance with Local Labor Laws: Maintain in-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations in each country within the region. Ensure company policies and practices comply with local legal requirements and are applied consistently. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to ensure compliance.
- Performance Management: Work with managers across countries to manage the performance review process, provide coaching and guidance on handling performance challenges, and support the development of employees.
- Training & Development: Facilitate training programs, workshops, and other initiatives to enhance employee skills and leadership development.
- HR Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring all HR systems are updated with the latest employee information, including job changes, promotions, and terminations. Provide reporting and analytics on key HR metrics.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for regional roles, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Partner with hiring managers to identify and manage hiring needs.
- Compensation & Benefits: Assist with job evaluations and providing relevant salary benchmarks. Collaborate with local payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Partner with the country shared service HR team on benefits programs and manage BU-specific benefits.
- HR Projects: Lead or support various global and regional HR initiatives, such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR generalist roles with significant multi-country responsibilities. Experience working across different cultural environments is preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a cross-cultural understanding
- Proven problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle HR operations in different countries simultaneously
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Travel: Up to 20%
- Preferred: Experience working in a multi-country or global environment and managing HR operations across diverse legal environments
