This role will collaborate closely with director-level leadership and the operator to ensure seamless onboarding orientation and training of team members and shift leaders. This role focuses on maintaining operational efficiency by developing and implementing training schedules, managing team member schedules to align with staffing needs, and ensuring consistent application of Chick-fil-A’s service standards and operational processes. This role is focused on operations, with the Manager expected to engage directly with team members on the floor and in the kitchen. This is a part-time, contract-based role.



Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Team Support - Provide hands-on support to employees during challenging or high-demand periods, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability
  • Filling in on shifts: Support any role or shift as needed to maintain seamless operations during peak times or staffing shortages (expected to know operations and be involved in operations)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices and impeccable organization abilities
  • This is a part-time role requiring 25-30 hours per week, with a significant portion of time spent actively working on the floor alongside team members to support operations 
  • Hiring Process Management: Oversee recruitment efforts, guide candidates through the hiring process, and schedule and conduct interviews using hiring platform software.
  • Onboarding and Training: Facilitate onboarding programs, orientation sessions, and training schedules to prepare team members for success.

Outcomes or Measures of Success

  • Retention and Engagement: Successfully implement retention strategies by contributing to team engagement initiatives and ensuring high morale
  • Fair Workweek Law Compliance: Follow Fair Workweek regulations strictly by consistently monitoring scheduling practices, promptly addressing changes or requests, and ensuring compliance with all related requirements.
  • Growth-Oriented Culture: Foster a growth mindset among team members and shift leaders, encouraging professional development and preparing them for future leadership roles.
  • Operational Consistency: Ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll, training records, timekeeping, and attendance management by adhering to established administrative processes and maintaining regular oversight.


Qualifications:

  1. Impeccable organizational and interpersonal skills
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources
  3. Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment (preferred)
  4. Bachelor’s degree required
  5. Familiarity with Fair Workweek laws (preferred)
  6. Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
