Essential Duties:

  • Lead company-wide Performance Management, Compensation, Compliance, Talent Acquisition process (including sourcing, testing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding), and Learning & Development
  • Primary HR business partner for our Western region including the Las Vegas and Denver facilities, guiding employees and managers related to policy, coordinating regional HR activities such as annual benefits enrollment, talent acquisition, training, employee relations, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions to facilitate effective and competitive recruiting, performance management, and compensation
  • Execution of regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and provide employees with the most up to date information
  • Payroll experience a plus


Requirements

 Other Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred, HR Certifications strongly recommended
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as human resources generalist; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing HR experience a plus!
  • Technical Skills: ­Experience with ERP systems. ­Proficiency in Microsoft office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Soft Skills: Must have good phone skills and interact well with others. Must have above average database, micro processing, and presentation computing skills. Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude..
  • Physical Ability: Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing tasks that involve walking and occasional climbing of stairs.
  • Travel requirement: 10% of the time
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Intermediate conversational fluency in Spanish strongly preferred. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or fellow team members.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to multitask and be a problem solver.
