Senior HR Manager
SUMMARY
Partners with the VP HR, leaders and employees on company polices/procedures and best practices that drive HR strategies. As a member of the Senior leadership team this position holds a high level of responsibility whether through performance management or providing leaders and team members the guidance, they need to be successful. Mitigates risk to the company and ensures consistency and confidentiality in investigations and resolutions of concerns and employee relations issues. The SR HR manager is a knowledgeable and committed resource that fosters collaboration, positive impact on how employees experience organizational change, company culture evolution, and the driving initiatives that support the acquisition and retention of best-in-class talent.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a coach, trusted partner, and confidant who understands handling disciplinary processes, formal grievances, or complaints and resolves in a way that is in the best interests of people and the business
- Partners with recruiting counterparts attract top talent to fill roles that support both current and future needs
- Partners with others to design and coordinate recognition and employees events to keep the workplace fun and engaging.
- Responsible for organizing key HR metrics and maximizing HRIS systems for organizational self-service, transparency, and communications
- Managing the Performance Evaluation process and conducting appraisal training meetings
- Partners with VP HR on the Talent Alignment process by co-facilitating talent meetings to identify top talent, address current and projected gaps, and support the execution of, diversity programs, development plans and mentoring program
- Ensuring company’s policies and procedures comply with employment laws/regulations
- Understand business goals and recommends thoughtful new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements and innovative HR solutions
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Resourceful Team player who is also effective independently
- Proactive approaches to problem-solving and strong judgement capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to relate messages to all levels of the organization from executives to front-line employees
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills –Windows
- Highly organized and able to prioritize under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Strong command over HR management software, preferably ADP.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of human resources experience in one or more of the following industries: retail, hospitality, in customer-facing environments, distribution centers or manufacturing environments
- Ability to task switch in a fast-paced environment and anticipate last minute changes
- Positive attitude, with a passion for learning
- Demonstrated success proven through steady career progression within varied HR roles and stretch assignments
- Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on driving results
