Summary |
Provide advanced recruiting, onboarding, and HR operational support and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the Human Resources department. This senior individual-contributor position performs a variety of routine, complex, and technical duties in recruiting, employee benefits, payroll-related onboarding, records management, new hire orientation. Performs administrative duties to contribute to efficient office operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned portfolio of positions by creating requisitions, coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting phone/video screening, scheduling and coordinating onsite interviews, and managing offer/acceptance processes.
- Proactively source and develop talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and recurring roles using multiple channels (LinkedIn, professional networks, job boards, referrals).
- Advise hiring managers on job descriptions, candidate assessment and interview best practices, and selection decisions; provide guidance on internal transfer and promotion opportunities.
- Track and report recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, quality of hire) and provide recommendations to improve recruitment effectiveness.
- Conduct New Employee Orientation including preparing paperwork for payroll, establishing personnel files, enrolling employees in benefit programs, issuing badges, and coordinating required IT/security access.
- Verify I-9 documentation, maintain filing system for employment eligibility, and ensure compliance with federal/state/local employment requirements.
- Maintain personnel and supervisory files; complete necessary paperwork for employee transitions (hires, transfers, promotions, terminations) accurately and timely.
- Coach and assist employees and managers with routine workplace and benefit issues; escalate complex employee relations matters to the Director or Manager of Human Resources.
- Create headcount reports and recruitment/status reports for various projects as assigned.
- Identify and recommend process and technology improvements to streamline recruiting and HR operations.
- Pursue self-development and continuing professional development of skills and knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing professional networks.

- Proven experience and success in full-cycle recruiting for multiple levels, including mid- to senior-level and specialized roles.
- Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and online sourcing tools.
- Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent grammar and written communication skills; excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
- Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and prepare actionable reports.
- Working knowledge of employment law fundamentals (I-9, EEO, FMLA, ADA) and HR best practices.

WORK ENVIRONMENT |
Usual office working conditions with moderate noise such as computers and printers, telephones and copy machines. Occasional after-hours or remote work may be required to meet recruitment deadlines or attend job fairs/conferences.

Minimum qualifications |
Bachelor Degree in human resources, business management, business administration, or other relevant field, with PHR or SPHR certification preferred; or, a combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.
