Position Summary

The Senior HR Coordinator is a high-impact, operationally focused role responsible for the daily human resources functions across multiple warehouse locations. Based in Mesquite, TX, this individual serves as the primary point of contact for site leaders and associates, ensuring HR excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

This position is designed for a highly skilled HR professional who excels at operational execution and employee engagement. While this role handles the core HR lifecycle from onboarding to payroll integrity they work in close partnership with a Senior HR Generalist (Sr. HRG). The Sr. HRG provides strategic support and leads on complex employee relations, high-level policy strategy, and specialized HR legalities, allowing the Coordinator to focus on site-level excellence and high-volume workforce needs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR lead for assigned sites, ensuring consistent application of company policies and maintaining a highly visible, approachable presence on the warehouse floor.
  • Partner closely with the Sr. HRG to address complex HR issues; handle initial intake of employee relations concerns and facilitate investigations under the guidance of the Sr. HRG.
  • Act as a critical English/Spanish resource for the workforce; facilitate clear communication, translate documents, and conduct site meetings to ensure all employees remain informed and engaged.
  • Lead the full cycle of new hire orientation and onboarding across all assigned sites to ensure a seamless and compliant "Day 1" experience for new team members.
  • Maintain meticulous employee records within the HRIS; audit timekeeping data and collaborate with the payroll team to resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist the Sr. HRG in executing change management initiatives, ensuring site-level staff understand and adopt new organizational processes during growth phases.
  • Ensure all sites remain compliant with federal, state, and local laws. Prepare weekly/monthly HR metrics, including turnover and headcount reports, for leadership review.
  • Support site-specific initiatives related to retention, safety culture, and team performance within the distribution centers.
  • Assist in the administration of the annual open enrollment process, providing direct support to associates in understanding their benefit options.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:2–4 years of progressive HR experience; prior experience in Warehousing, Logistics, or Distribution is highly preferred.
  • Bilingualism: Professional fluency in Spanish and English(written and verbal) is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with ADP and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Multi-Site Capability: Proven ability to manage tasks across different geographic locations with exceptional time-management skills.
  • Interpersonal Strength: Ability to build trust with warehouse associates while maintaining a professional partnership with site leadership.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Environment: A blend of a professional office setting and frequent activity on the warehouse floor (noise, temperature fluctuations, and active machinery).
  • Physicality: Ability to walk warehouse floors daily and lift up to 20 lbs. (files/office supplies).
  • Travel: Regular local travel between assigned sites in the Mesquite/DFW area is required(approx. 20–30%).
