 Job Summary:  The Sr. HR Generalist will lead complex and specialized HR tasks including but not limited to recruiting, employee relations, benefits, and employee engagement.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for temporary staffing needs; liaison between supervisors and staffing agencies for headcount, qualified placements and start dates
  • Perform employee onboarding to include data entry in HRIS 
  • Responsible for leading performance management, compliance with labor laws and benefits administration.
  • Sets up and maintain employee information in ADP including hires, updates, and terminations
  • Monitor attendance: check attendance line and daily attendance report, submit weekly headcount report
  • Update organizational chart
  • Manages all payroll, time and attendance to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
  • Conduct open enrollment benefits meetings and resolve benefits-related issues
  • Schedule and track relevant training for all employees
  • Create and distribute employee communications such as birthdays, anniversaries, and policy/procedure updates
  • Create and communicate employee recognition programs 
  • Coordinate teambuilding events
  • Handle employee relations questions regarding workplace conflicts, and internal policy interpretations
  • Assist in conducting employee evaluations by providing due dates and documentation to leadership
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Must be successful in working in a team environment
  • Analytical, organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, and leadership in other departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Five years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
