PS currently operates at Los Angeles International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and is developing new terminals at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Miami International Airport. With unprecedented access, PS has the only private partnership with both TSA and Customs and Border Protection, our guests move seamlessly through arrivals and departures. A team of expert Agents works behind the scenes to choreograph every step of the pre- or post-flight experience. Sail through our private, line-free TSA screening, access dedicated customs and immigration services on arrival, and relax as our trained drivers escort you across the airfield directly to/from your aircraft. All without stepping inside the Airport. Guests also enjoy private suites, chef-prepared food, spa services, and more, all while our Control Room coordinates with government, security, and airline officials to ensure the utmost efficiency, safety, and privacy.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) PSLAX, you will serve as a strategic partner for leadership, providing comprehensive HR support and guidance across various operational levels. Your role involves analyzing workforce trends, developing HR solutions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll offer performance management support, foster positive work environments, and address employee relations issues. The position requires strong problem-solving skills to manage complex situations and conduct thorough investigations. You'll be instrumental in workforce planning, policy interpretation, and identifying training needs. Collaborating with the HR Team and other departments, you'll contribute to strategic program development and partner with the Talent Acquisition team to attract and retain high-quality, diverse talent that aligns with PS's long-term success. This is a leadership role. Reports to the Corporate HR Manager with a dotted line to the Managing Director PSLAX.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Consult with the Managing Director LAX, Directors, and Managers onsite providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Manager to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to Managers and Directors of Operations, Hospitality, and F&B (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with Managers and Associates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Solicits and listens to Associate’s concerns and takes an active role in resolving problems.
- Provides consultation and support to Managers on Employee relations issues and applicable company policies
- Manage and resolve complex Employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of the workforce, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provides information about benefits, training, and other Human Resources programs.
- Research Human Resources program activity, and prepare reports and presentations
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Provides guidance and input on workforce management
- Identify training needs for business and individual coaching needs
- Collaborate and partner with the HR Team, and cross-functional teams to ensure onsite needs are met and assist in the development of strategic programs.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure that PS attracts high-quality diverse team members and managers who will contribute to PS’s long-term success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in HR, business or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Advanced knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Prefer prior HR experience in the Hospitality sector.
- Ability to effectively coach, develop, and lead people.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering high quality results in a changing environment
- Ability to influence and interact with all levels of management and associates while maintaining collaborative partnerships
- Ability to evaluate, analyze, and resolve complex problems
- SHRM Certified Professional or SHRM Senior Certified Professional credential preferred.
- This role is 100% onsite at PS LAX, with a 5-day per week schedule, either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday. It is not a traditional Monday to Friday schedule, as PS operates a 24/7 facility to meet our business.

This is an Exempt, Salaried role. Pay ranges from $100,000 - $120,000 annually.
