Are you a strategic leader with expertise in leading a Human Resources team? This position partners with our executive leadership team to shape organizational culture, workforce strategy, and long-term talent vision. This role drives initiatives that position Corporate One for future growth, ensuring alignment between human capital strategies and enterprise objectives.
What You’ll Do:
Human Capital Strategy
o Influence enterprise-level decisions by providing insights on workforce trends, organizational design, and leadership development to ensure Corporate One remains competitive and future-ready.
o Develop and implement multi-year HR strategies that support organizational goals, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
o Serve as trusted advisor to executive leadership on employment matters, organizational effectiveness, and workforce strategy.
o Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
Culture and Engagement
o Act as a cultural architect, embedding values and behaviors that support innovation, collaboration, and member-centric excellence.
o Champion initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with organizational values and member-focused mission.
o Proactively support organizational structures and programs that enhance employee engagement throughout the employment lifecycle.
Leadership
o Serve as a thought leader in shaping HR strategies that anticipate organizational needs and enable transformation.
o Anticipate future trends and proactively position the organization for success. Comfortable challenging the status quo and introducing innovative solutions.
o Partner with executives to align employee-focused business objectives in conjunction with the organization’s strategic plan.
o Lead the Human Resources function to ensure effectiveness in talent attraction, talent management, employee experience, and compliance.
o Provide strategic and operational leadership for direct reports, including setting clear performance expectations, coaching, mentoring and supporting career development to foster engagement and high performance. Oversee HR and Facilities departments. Encourage a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement by implementing effective communication, recognition, and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen team cohesion and support organizational goals.
Risk Mitigation
o Adhere to and ensure departmental and organizational compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, EEO and affirmative action related reporting and regulatory compliance testing.
o Adhere to best HR practices to mitigate HR-related risks for the organization. Cooperate and comply with audit requests. Adhere to departmental and Salary and Benefits budgets. Maintain administrative actions such as record retention, job descriptions, internal procedures, and employee handbook updates.
Human Resources Functional Responsibilities
o Develop and maintain HR strategy governing department initiatives and operations.
o Advise and guide performance management strategy and oversee execution of processes that drive accountability, professional growth, and organizational effectiveness.
o Advise and guide learning and development strategy. Responsible for oversight of development of programs that enhance staff skills and ensure leadership capabilities.
o Oversee development and execution of benefits program that attract and retain talent while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
o Develop and maintain compensation strategy and processes that attract and retain talent while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
o Leverage HR systems and data analytics to measure and improve effectiveness of HR initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
We are specifically seeking a proven Human Resources leader passionate about proactively driving a positive culture, great employee work experience, and ability to align HR practices and initiatives with organizational objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, organizational development, business, or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum of 12 years of related progressive experience in addition to educational requirements listed above. SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification required. Experience translating strategic objectives into actionable workforce initiatives that deliver measurable impact. Experience working with senior level executives within an organization.
• Exceptional relationship building and empathy skills, creative problem-solving abilities and demonstrated use of sound judgement. Solid working knowledge in all major HR disciplines. Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, drive organizational change, and inspire a shared vision across diverse teams. Superior written, listening and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook, and HRIS/payroll software. Familiarity with applicant tracking, performance management, learning management systems preferred.
