POSITION SUMMARY:

Support corporate and field organization to ensure proper staffing levels, teammate training, policy compliance and talent management. Manage full cycle recruiting and hiring process for corporate and center positions. Ensure appropriate onboarding and training programs are in place to support compliance, performance, and operational objectives. Assist with Human Resources projects.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

  • Maintain knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with teammate investigations and developing resolutions to teammate concerns
  • Provide guidance and counsel on company policies and procedures
  • Assist in the updating and revisions of HR policies and procedures, including the annual policy review process
  • Support HR programs including performance reviews, benefits open enrollment and strategic action planning

 

TRAINING

  • Develop and maintain new hire orientation program for centers and corporate office
  • Collaborate with business to identify training needs and create offerings to support teammate development
  • Implement and facilitate training programs
  • Maintain compliance training programs

 

RECRUITING AND HIRING

  • Work with business to understand staffing and hiring needs
  • Assist with developing recruiting plans and building talent pipelines
  • Support and train manager on hiring and offer processes and procedures
  • Stay current on recruiting and job promotion trends to ensure Fielmann USA attracts top talent
  • Monitor competition

 

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years’ experience in varied Human Resources disciplines
  • Proven ability to lead across all levels of the organization directly and indirectly
  • Demonstrated ability to act decisively and facilitate and implement solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to interact professionally and build relationships with both internal and external contacts
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple workloads and deadlines
  • Ability and motivation to work in a team environment that encourages creativity and effective collaboration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.)
  • Able to read and write at a high school graduate level
  • Able to lift 10 to 20 pounds
  • Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights, and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlines
  • Able to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal development
