BASIC FUNCTION:

Omya is hiring a talented recruiter for a temporary assignment!


This role will be responsible for developing and implementing Human Resources processes, with a focus on delivering integrated HR solutions for recruitment and selection.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the talent acquisition process, ensure the quality of personnel hired, the effectiveness of recruiting and compliance with law requirements. May assist with job advertising, posting and post job information on Omya homepage and external websites.
  • Review resumes, perform telephone interviews, administer in-person interviews and conducts reference & background checks. Recommending placement of internal and external candidates.
  • Talent management and Career development support Identify learning & development requirements and prepare development plans for the employees. Ensure quality education and coordinate vocational trainings.
  • Responsible for the setup and maintenance of career paths. Advise and support managers in people management activities for defined scope
  • Partner with a specific business or businesses to develop and deliver the HR Strategy aligned with the business strategy and Corporate policies and procedures.
  • Provide advice as to the best HR management practices to support business objectives.
  • Facilitate the management team to bring best solutions for employees. Identify trends/issues that require resolution and involves appropriate resources.
  • Build a valuable relationship with internal clients and transfer requests to/from the business unit.
  • Provide employee relations counsel to managers and employees on HR matters including performance, discipline, organizational decisions and career development.
  • Provide interpretation and guidance on human resources policies and employment law.
  • Support HR colleagues and managers to understand and comply with relevant legislation and employee relation policies and practices.
  • Participate in implementation and development of HR Instruments and Systems.
  • Use relevant data and systems to recommend policy and process solutions to align with HR strategy and plans.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

University Degree, preferably in the area of Human Resources. Minimum 5 years of working experience in recruiting.

Human Resources department and all levels of employees, including executive leadership and senior leaders – domestic contacts recurring on daily basis

Computer literate including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and experience using workday will be preferred.

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, excellent project management and change management skills, ability to maintain the confidential information, ability to work independently and resourceful, strong business acumen.

Spanish preferred but not required.
