Summary
The Human Resources Manager/Senior Generalist leads and supports HR initiatives that align with business goals, serving as a trusted partner to both leadership and employees. This role manages full-cycle HR processes, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes
- Provide guidance on organizational development, workforce planning, and employee engagement
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Manage complex employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions
- Analyze HR data and trends to create informed strategies and solutions
- Develop and deliver training to support employee development and compliance
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration, recommending improvements where needed
- Continuously improve HR systems, programs, and processes
- Mentor and support junior HR staff as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a generalist or senior HR role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or similar environments a plus
