Full-Time Assistant Human Resources Manager- Winter Springs, FL


American Premier Services is seeking a dynamic and talented Full-Time Assistant Human Resources Manager to join our team! Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for acting as a leader for the HR team and directly managing and providing guidance for HR Coordinators.

2. Develop and execute training for the HR department to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall success.

3. Work closely with Director of Human Resources to execute and implement all HR processes.

4. Evaluate, develop, improve, and drive HR processes for maximum benefit of the organization.

5. Collaborate with key leaders to develop training and improvement ideas.

6. Oversee HR processes such as onboarding, worker’s compensation reporting, investigations, unemployment claims, and separations companywide.

7. Assist HR Coordinators with approach to handling disciplinary actions and all other employee development efforts.

8. Responsible for responding to or offering guidance to HR Coordinators on legal issues such as lawsuits, complaints to EEOC, complains to OSHA, Worker’s Compensation settlements, etc.

9. Lead Worker’s Compensation and safety initiatives from an HR perspective and act as a primary contact for Carrier and Broker.

10. Lead benefits initiatives including medical, 401k, and stock purchase program; and act as a contact for Carrier and Broker.

11. Lead efforts on preparing audits such as Worker’s Compensation, 401k, government audits, etc.

12. Act as a backup for payroll to assist with payroll related responsibilities such as certified payroll, and processing payroll as needed.

13. Assist with recruiting efforts as needed.

14. Develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization and be a strong presence with the team.

15. Work closely with Field Operations to adopt and reinforce efficiencies, proper protocols, etc.

16. Ensure adherence with team of American Premier Services Mission and Values.

17. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  1. At least 3 years equivalent experience working with HR (may be combined with education where applicable).
  2. 2 years Management experience preferred.
  3. Bachelor's degree preferred, Business or HR related degree ideal.
  4. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  5. Excellent working in fast-paced environment preferred.
  6. Excellent Communication skills required.
Salary Description
$55,000 - $60,000
