DescriptionEmployee Relations Coordinator
Elite Care is a locally owned, boutique residential living community. Elite Care is the alternative to large, impersonal assisted living facilities or locked memory care communities. As an Employee Relations Coordinator with us, you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining policies and practices that promote legal compliance, equity, and consistency within the employee relations and performance management programs to include process enhancement and modification. You will also collaborate with our HR department and other members of our staff.
Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Coordinate and facilitate the employee relations program and related functions with our HR department
- Coordinate and assist with all recruitment functions and interview processes to include posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and supporting community teams with pre-hire and onboarding functions for new employees
- Ensures policies, principles and practices are applied consistently and fairly
- Serves as consistent back up coverage for specific areas
- Interviews potential employees for, or with, department supervisor
- Processes all new hire paperwork; conducts new employee orientation/onboarding
- Manages employee relations issues in assigned area(s)
- Investigates employee concerns, explains policies and procedures, and presents findings in a formal summary format

QualificationsJob Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of management or human resources experience required
- Understanding of human and labor relations principles, practices, and procedures.
- Experience working in an assisted living, long-term care facility/nursing home or memory care facility, preferred
- Unwavering integrity and confidentiality, with a demonstrated ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations
- Negotiation skills, organizational skills, conflict resolution skills, problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Zoom, and electronic recordkeeping
