HR Professional

Job Summary

The HR Generalist supports a broad range of human resources functions including employee relations, talent development, HR operations, and compliance. This role partners with managers and employees to foster a positive workplace environment, address employee concerns, and support employee development initiatives. The HR Generalist plays an important role in ensuring consistent application of HR policies, supporting workforce programs, and contributing to a positive employee experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers regarding workplace questions, employee concerns, and HR policies.
  • Support employee relations activities including conflict resolution, workplace investigations, performance management discussions, and disciplinary processes.
  • Partner with managers to address employee issues, provide HR guidance, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Support employee training and development programs including onboarding, compliance training, and professional development initiatives.
  • Coordinate training schedules, track completion, and maintain training documentation.
  • Assist with performance management processes including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Support HR programs related to employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes including documentation and employee records management.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and HR documentation within HR systems.
  • Support leave administration processes and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Partner with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and workforce planning activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or HR operations role.
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters and HR programs.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, plant, or multi-shift operations.
  • Experience coordinating employee training or development programs.
  • HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as ADP, or similar.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Work is primarily performed in an office environment within a manufacturing facility. The role may require interaction with employees and supervisors on the production floor. Extended periods of sitting or computer work may be required.
