Advertised Job Summary

The Darla Moore School of Business invites applications for the HRBP – HR Coordinator position within the Office of Human Resources. The HRBP – HR Coordinator will coordinate HR functions related to hiring, onboarding, reappointments, and record maintenance. Ensure organizational accuracy and efficiency by initiating and monitoring assigned HR activities. Serve as the first point of contact for departments and business specialists and support HR staff as needed. 

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of USC HR policies, State of SC HR Regulations and applicable federal HR laws/regulations specific to higher education.
• Prior experience in cross-functional HR program management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to human resources.
• Ability to analyze requests to determine compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Must possess the ability to write clearly, accurately, and effectively.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
